Colorado Medical Exemption Program (CMEP)

Colorado Medical Exemption Program (CMEP) – The CCC administers the CMEP program on behalf of Xcel and Black Hills Energy. CMEP offers lower electrical rates for households below 400% FPL and who have someone in their household living with a medical condition. The application is now open year round.

Colorado Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Battery Rebate Program Agree

Applicant must currently be enrolled in Xcel Energy’s Medical Certification Program and/or the Colorado Medical Exemption Program (CMEP) at the time of their application.

Applicant must be a current Xcel Energy electrical customer located in Colorado with an address that falls into either Tier 2 or Tier 3 Wildfire Zones. Map is subject to change:
