The Chronic Care Collaborative is hosting two virtual workshops leading up to Chronic Disease Awareness Day. Both workshops stand on their own and provide information about being an advocate at the event and more generally. Please attend the workshop(s) that feel most relevant to you. We do recommend attending or viewing at least one of the workshops in advance of Chronic Disease Awareness Day.
Advocacy 101
February 5th, 9:15am – 10:00am
This workshop is tailored to those new to legislative advocacy or looking for a refresher. It will cover advocacy basics and how to share your story with legislators. RSVP here.
Advocating at Chronic Disease Awareness Day
February 12th, 8:30am – 9:00am
This workshop provides specific information about being an advocate at Chronic Disease Awareness Day. It will cover what to expect at the event and include details about bills impacting the chronic disease community. RSVP here.
